All products offered by Euro-American Marketing
are “Fair Trade” products.The factory workers are provided with on the job
training, work in a clean environment and receive fair wages. There is no
child labor involved.
Several hundred women are employed to make the
knitted and crocheted items. They are paid by the piece. Many women do the
handwork in their own homes, allowing normal family life to continue. Their
wages supplement the family income. Often a good portion of this
income is used to pay for their children’s education.

Our current social projects include:
* Ungoing financial support to Pranavanada Ashram Orphanage in Kathmandu: including providing dental care for the 95 boys, a project in cooperation with local dentists, and the installation of solar water heating and filtration systems.
* support or the S.K.B. Thapa and Lalit Kumari Science scholarship fund, assisting Nepalese students with the costs of obtaining higher education in science. The recipients of these grants are underprivileged, hard-working students in the Sindhuli district of Nepal.
